Opalescence Bost PF 40% kit for 2 patients

Opalescence Boost enables you to whiten your teeth in one visit to the dentist's office quickly and safely, without the use of overlays. Opalescence Boost is a chemically activated gel, based on 40% perhydrol, for professional whitening and discoloration of the tooth tissue in the dental office. Chemical activation of Opalescence Boost allows you to achieve maximum effectiveness of the whitening agent, and additional light activation is not necessary. Due to a neutral pH (7.0) and maximum oxidative activity, it is highly effective and does not damage the enamel.

Although it requires storage in a refrigerator, due to chemical activation it is relatively insensitive to elevated temperature during transport. Opalescence Boost consists of two syringes, an activator in a small clear syringe and the base of the actual perhydrol-based preparation in a red syringe. Opalescence Xtra Boost is ready to use immediately after mixing. The syringes with the base and activator are adapted to be joined together by screwing one into the other. Mixing does not risk spilling the preparation, it is very convenient. Make sure you twist the syringes very carefully. The preparation should be pushed from one syringe to another several times so that the base and the activator mix thoroughly. After mixing, Opalescence Boost remains in the red syringe; Black Mini or Black Micro FX tips are used for application. Opalescence Boost will retain its properties for at least 10 days after mixing when refrigerated. This method of packaging the preparation allows to provide a fresh, highly active product with each treatment.

The light-cured Opal Dam resin included in the kit is used to protect soft tissues.

Opalescence Boost can be used as a standalone whitening method or in combination with overlay whitening with Opalescence products. If there are symptoms of hypersensitivity during whitening, the Ultra EZ preparation (produced by Ultradent) containing potassium nitrate and fluorine compounds can be used.
