Product description:
- IPS PressVest Premium is a universal phosphate investment (type 1, class 1 and 2) that can be used with ceramic materials for pressing in Ivoclar Vivadent furnaces.
- It can be used both in the speed heating procedure and in the conventional heating procedure.
"Speed" heating procedure:
- The ring is placed in a furnace heated to the final temperature and then, after a specified period of time, transferred to the pressing furnace.
Conventional heating procedure:
- The ring is placed in an unheated oven (room temperature) and heated to the final temperature as recommended. After a specified time, the ring is transferred to the pressing furnace.
Indications:
IPS Press VEST Premium can be used with the following ceramic materials for pressing in Ivoclar Vivadent furnaces

Storage:
- Store at a temperature of 12-28°C
- Store the powder in a dry place
- Do not store the liquid at a temperature lower than +5 °C (due to its sensitivity to low temperatures!). If the liquid freezes, it becomes unsuitable for use due to crystallization.
Temperature at which the material can be used:
- Ambient temperature 18 °C - max. 23 °C.
- Temperatures that deviate significantly from this range may significantly affect the setting process.
- Lower ambient temperature slows down the chemical process.
- A higher ambient temperature accelerates the chemical process (from a temperature of 23 - 28 °C, the liquid and water can be cooled to 12 °C.
Mixing proportions:
As a result of diluting the liquid, it is possible to control the expansion of the investment material, which affects the fit of the pressed restoration. The concentration of the liquid is expressed in %. Important: The proportions of the amount of mixed liquid (liquid to investment material + distilled water) depend on the amount of powder and must be strictly observed.
100 g of powder: 26 ml of liquid (investment liquid + distilled water)
- 200 g of powder: 52 ml of liquid (investment liquid + distilled water)
- 300 g powder: 78 ml liquid (investment liquid + distilled water)
The following fluid concentration information is a guide only and may be adjusted based on job size and mixing conditions. Do not dilute the liquid below 50%!
